Autograph letter signed from Franc̜ois Victor Hugo, Hauteville House, to an unidentified recipient, 19th century August 26.

Hugo thanks the recipient for his "premier Hamlet" and will send the first volume of his Shakespeare translation. He speaks of going to London and visiting the British Museum to consult books and documents for his fifth volume on Othello.
